It’s less than a week until the end of November, and December will bring new Netflix shows from around the world, as well as movies and television series that you should not miss. Here’s a list of what you can enjoy in the final month of 2021.

Netflix will release the film on December 1st.

It’s the final season of Lost in Space, which will conclude in December 2021 with its third and final season. Eight new episodes will be released, with Zack Estrin continuing to write and executive produce.

The stakes are reportedly higher than ever, as the Robinsons prepare to visit yet another planet and face their most dangerous alien threat to date.

The Power of the Dog

Netflix will release the film on December 1st.

The Power of the Dog, which is hotly anticipated for awards season, assembles a large ensemble cast for a brand new romantic western that will also receive a theatrical release.

Benedict Cumberbatch will portray Phil Burbank, a rancher who believes he will never find love, but his path is altered when his brother pays him a visit.

Jane Campion directed The Power of the Dog, which is based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Savage.

Single All the Way

Netflix will release the film on December 2nd.

As one might expect, December brings Christmas movies, one of which is Single All the Way, starring Jennifer Coolidge, Michael Urie, and Philemon Chambers.

The protagonist, Peter, returns home for the holidays with his best friend Nick and both pretend to be in a relationship, despite the fact that Peter’s mother attempts to set him up with a local trainer.

Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas

Netflix will release the film on December 3rd.

Remember the franchise’s Aardman Animations-created characters? Shaun the Sheep is back this Christmas to entertain you.

The Unforgivable

Netflix will release the film on December 10th.

The Unforgivable appears to be another outstanding performance from Bullock as Ruth Slater, a recently released prisoner who appears incapable of moving forward.

Sandra Bullock and Jon Bernthal star in this drama directed by Nora Fingscheidt. Bullock will portray Ruth Slater, a woman recently released from prison who appears incapable of moving forward.

Additionally, the film will have a theatrical release on November 24th.

The Witcher (Season 2)

Netflix will premiere it on December 17th.

Perhaps the most anticipated return of the month is Geralt’s second outing in The Witcher season 2.

Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen, convinced that Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden. While the kings, elves, humans, and demons of the Continent vie for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more perilous: the mysterious power she possesses within.

Emily in Paris (Season 2)

Netflix will premiere it on December 22nd.

Emily in Paris, the Emmy-nominated Netflix Original series, returns following extensive filming over the summer. Emily is improving her navigation skills in Paris but continues to stumble when it comes to her relationships. Darren Star returns to direct the ten-episode second season.

Netflix will release the film on December 24th.

What’s on Netflix’s most anticipated film of the year list is Adam McKay’s first feature film, Don’t Look Up.

The most anticipated film of 2021 on Netflix stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. The plot centers on two scientists who embark on a world tour in an attempt to convince everyone that the end is near.

Netflix will also debut the film in theaters on December 10th, just prior to the film’s release on Christmas Eve.

Cobra Kai (Season 4) 

Netflix will premiere it on December 31st.

The next set of episodes of Cobra Kai is all-out war, with an unlikely alliance forming to defeat a common foe. Once again, we’ll see familiar faces from The Karate Kid films in this series that just keeps getting better.

The year is rounded out by one of Netflix’s brightest stars in its award season contenders.

Maggie Gyllenhaal directs the film, which stars Olivia Colman and Dakota Johnson.

Stay Close – Coming to Netflix: December 31st

On New Year’s Eve, Netflix will release an eight-episode limited series based on the Harlan Coben novel.

This new series, which will be filmed in the United Kingdom, will star Cush Jumbo, James Nesbitt, Richard Armitage, and Sarah Parish.

This concludes the discussion. The conclusion of one of Netflix’s most successful series to date. The gang that has been robbing some of Spain’s most historic banks has traveled a long road, but the heist must come to an end.

With the first half of season 5 arriving in early September, the final batch of episodes will arrive in early December, bringing this truly epic series to a close. Throughout the remainder of 2021, Netflix is actively filming a Korean adaptation.

David and the Elves – Coming to Netflix: December 6th

A Christmas film directed by Micha Rogalski in Poland, where the holiday season is rapidly approaching and young David sets out to re-educate his parents on the true meaning of Christmas.

Jakub Zajc, Cyprian Grabowski, Anna Smoowik, and Monika Krzywkowska are among the cast members of David and the Elves.

The Hand of God – Coming to Netflix: December 15th

This drama about a young man growing up in 1980s Naples is written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino.

A California Christmas – Coming to Netflix on December 16th

A California Christmas premiered on Netflix last year, and now we’ll follow Callie and Joeseph a year later, as their relationship is about to hit a snag when Joeseph is summoned to the city.

Back to the Outback – Coming to Netflix: December 10th 

This Netflix Animation internal project is one of our most anticipated animated feature films to date. The film flips the script on what one would expect of zoo animals by following an unlikely crew as they attempt to escape their enclosures.

Guy Pearce, Eric Bana, Isla Fisher, Jacki Weaver, Wayne Knight, and Rachel House are among the voice actors recruited for the film.
